If your question is not here, ask us directly — we would rather answer it properly than have you guess.
We are insurance and investment advisers, not an insurer. We assess what you need to protect, compare what the market offers, and recommend a policy or investment plan that fits. The insurer still issues and underwrites the policy — we help you choose it and stay with you afterwards.
No. Our advisory and fact-finding process is free to you. Advisers in this market are typically paid a commission by the insurer once a policy is placed. Ask us to explain exactly how we are paid on any product we recommend — you are entitled to know, and we will tell you before you commit.
Before recommending anything, we go through your income, dependants, existing cover, debts and goals. It usually takes one conversation. The point is that a recommendation should follow from your circumstances, not from whatever product is easiest to sell.
There is no single correct figure. A common starting point is enough to clear outstanding debts and replace your income for the number of years your dependants would need it. We work the number out with you rather than applying a rule of thumb.
Term cover pays out only if you die within a fixed period and is the cheaper way to buy a large amount of protection. Whole-of-life cover lasts for life and usually builds a surrender value, which makes it more expensive for the same sum assured. Which is appropriate depends on what you are protecting and for how long.
Premiums vary with age, medical history, the hospital network included, the deductible, and whether maternity, dental or outpatient cover is added. Two quotes with the same headline price can cover very different things, which is why we compare the benefit tables rather than just the premium.
Yes, always. Non-disclosure is the single most common reason a claim gets rejected. Declaring a condition may mean a waiting period or a higher premium, but a policy that pays out is worth more than a cheap one that does not.
Health insurance is a legal requirement for residents in several emirates, and employers are generally responsible for providing it to their employees. The precise rules and minimum benefit levels differ by emirate and change over time, so ask us to confirm what currently applies to your situation.
Contact us as well as the insurer. We help you gather what the insurer needs, submit the claim correctly the first time, and follow it up. If a claim is declined and we believe it should not have been, we will take that up with the insurer on your behalf.
It depends on the policy. Some international plans travel with you; many locally issued policies do not, or change substantially. Tell us if a move is likely and we will factor portability into the recommendation rather than leaving you to discover it later.
Yes. We are based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and have servicing branches in India.
